Trash and Recycling Cart Pilot Program Community Meeting
Republic Services, in partnership with the City of Duncanville, is launching a Trash Cart Pilot Program in early April 2025 for 300 selected homes. This initiative introduces wheeled trash and recycling carts designed to improve efficiency, enhance neighborhood cleanliness, reduce issues like litter and pests, and to collect customer input.Carts will be delivered automatically — residents do not need to be home to accept them. Affected households will receive a letter from Republic Services with program details before delivery. This letter will be sent out by Friday, March 21, 2025. Participants should use the provided carts for trash and recycling and place it at their regular collection spot on pickup days.Republic Services and the City of Duncanville will be holding Community Meetings in the Parkview Room of the D.L.
