Public Notice of Acquisition of Military Equipment
by Duncanville Police Department
Notice is hereby given that the Duncanville Police Department intends to use federal equitable sharing funds and local available funds to purchase an armor vehicle which will be used exclusively for disaster-related emergencies; active shooter scenarios; hostage or other search and rescue operations; or anti-terrorism preparedness, protection, prevention, response, recovery, or relief.
That said purchase hereby will be transmitted in the City’s asset management system. In the event the property described is surplus, it will be retired or removed from service.
A copy of this notice will be filed with the City Council of the City of Duncanville, Texas, in the City’s local newspaper and on the City’s website, which shall demonstrate the department’s intent of purchase in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Aviso público de la adquisición de equipo militar por el Departamento de Policía de Duncanville
Por la presente se notifica que el Departamento de Policía de Duncanville tiene la intención de utilizar fondos federales de distribución equitativa y fondos locales disponibles para comprar un vehículo blindado que se utilizará exclusivamente para emergencias relacionadas con desastres; escenarios de tirador activo; operaciones de toma de rehenes u otras operaciones de búsqueda y rescate; opara la preparación, protección, prevención, reacción, recuperación y asistencia antiterrorista.
Dicha compra será trasmitida por el sistema de gestión de activos de la ciudad. En caso de que dicha compra anteriormente mencionada sea excedente, será retirada o sacada de servicio.
Se presentará una copia de este aviso ante el Concejo Municipal de la ciudad de Duncanville, Texas, en el periódico local y en el sitio web de la ciudad, que demostrará la intención de compra del departamento de policía de conformidad con los requisitos federales, estatales y locales.

Theo đây xin thông báo rằng Sở Cảnh Sát Duncanville dự định sử dụng quỹ chia sẻ công bằng của liên bang và nguồn ngân quỹ sẵn có của địa phương để mua một chiếc xe bọc thép sẽ được sử dụng riêng cho các trường hợp khẩn cấp liên quan đến thảm họa; các tình huống xả súng; bắt cóc con tin hoặc các hoạt động tìm kiếm và cứu hộ khác; hoặc cho hoạt động chuẩn bị, bảo vệ, phòng ngừa, ứng phó, khôi phục hoặc cứu trợ chống khủng bố.
Khoản mua nói trên theo đây được chuyển vào hệ thống quản lý tài sản của Thành Phố. Trong trường hợp là tài sản dư thừa thì tài sản được mô tả sẽ bị ngừng sử dụng hoặc ngừng hoạt động.
Một bản sao của thông báo này sẽ được nộp cho Hội đồng Thành phố của Thành phố Duncanville, Texas, đăng trên tờ báo địa phương của Thành phố và trên trang web của Thành phố, để thể hiện ý định mua của Sở theo đúng quy định của liên bang, tiểu bang và địa phương.
