Jeremy Koontz's Biography
Jeremy Koontz graduated from St. Mary' s University in San Antonio with a BA in English Literature and Language, and a minor in Geological Studies. He has spent over 15 years as a music educator, concert pianist, and recording artist, starting and managing a very successful studio for private and group piano lessons.
Jeremy has served on the Parks and Recreation Board, volunteers at the D.L. Hopkins Jr. Senior Center, and has engaged local residents by starting organizations such as a local running club, litter cleanup group, and chess club. Jeremy is an elite triathlete and ultra-marathoner.
He is married to Sarah Koontz, a Registered Dietitian with whom he has three children. Jeremy serves as the evangelist for the Pleasant Run Church of Christ in Lancaster, TX.
