Duncanville, TX– On Monday, February 12, 2024, the dedicated men and women of the Duncanville Fire Department (Station #2 – ‘B Shift’) gathered with Chief Rohde and City Administration, including City Manager Douglas Finch, Assistant City Manager Robert Brown, Assistant to City Manager David Kees, and Executive Liaison Sofine Lewis. Amidst a breakfast meeting, firefighters shared their concerns about the staggering call volume of over 7,000 calls per year and emphasized the urgent need for additional staffing and equipment to better serve the residents of the City of Duncanville.
