Duncanville, TX—The Duncanville Police Department is pleased to announce Adrian Tijerina’s appointment to Assistant Chief of Police.
Adrian Tijerina has been with the Duncanville Police Department for 17 years, serving as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Honor Guard, Use of Force, and Firearms Instructor. His past supervisory roles include Patrol, Internal Affairs, Training/Personnel, and SWAT.
“Assistant Chief Tijerina brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this role, and I have no doubt that his leadership will continue to strengthen our department and enhance the safety and well-being of our community. Assistant Chief Tijerina has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to upholding the values of integrity, accountability, and service. I look forward to the positive impact he will make in this new position," said Chief of Police Matthew Stogner.
In his new role, Adrian Tijerina will command the Operations function of the Police Department, overseeing Patrol, Special Operations, and Traffic Divisions.
