2025 Parade Route

Holiday Lights Parade Route & Road Closure Overview

The Holiday Lights Parade will follow a festive route through the heart of Duncanville to ensure a fun and safe experience for all spectators. The parade will begin at Freeman Road, travel east along Wheatland Road, turn south onto Main Street, and continue until it reaches Center St, where the parade will conclude.

To keep the route clear and maintain safety for participants and viewers, several streets will be temporarily closed to all non-parade traffic.

Road closures will be in effect from approximately 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, or until the route is fully cleared and reopened.

During this time:

  • Wheatland Road will be closed between Freeman Rd. and Main Street
  • Main Street will be closed between Wheatland Road and Center
  • Intersecting side streets along the route will be blocked with barricades to maintain safe parade flow
  • Only parade vehicles, emergency services, and authorized personnel will be allowed inside the closure zone

Residents, visitors, and businesses along the route should plan for adjusted travel paths, limited parking access, and minor delays. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to create a magical and safe Holiday Lights Parade for our community.
