Last year, the City of Duncanville launched a new partnership with SeeMyLegacy, an innovative online giving and community engagement platform designed to help residents, businesses, and stakeholders directly support the projects and programs that matter most to them.
Through this collaboration, the Duncanville Parks and Recreation Department has created a custom SeeMyLegacy community hub, available at https://app.seemylegacy.com/community/1569/campaigns. The hub allows users to explore current campaigns, contribute to local initiatives, and see the impact of their support in real time.
“This partnership gives our community a new way to make a real difference,” said Parks and Recreation Director Bart Stevenson. “SeeMyLegacy makes it easy for anyone to contribute to projects that enhance Duncanville’s parks, public spaces, and programs.”
The SeeMyLegacy platform provides tools for fundraising, volunteer coordination, and sponsorship management, giving the City a new way to engage with residents and local businesses. Through this initiative, Duncanville Parks and Recreation aims to highlight community-driven programs such as the Hometown Champions Banner Program, which honors local veterans, service members, and first responders with personalized banners displayed throughout the city. The partnership also supports the Field Sponsorship Program, offering residents and businesses an opportunity to invest in youth recreation and help improve local athletic fields and amenities.
In addition to these programs, the platform hosts various community improvement and event-support campaigns, allowing donors to contribute directly to projects that beautify parks, enhance facilities, and enrich the quality of life for Duncanville residents. Donations can be made securely online, and all contributions go directly toward the selected initiatives.
