The City of Duncanville, in partnership with Duncanville Economic Development Corporation, is launching the Open Rewards Program on May 3, 2026. This initiative is designed to support local businesses while giving residents and visitors the opportunity to earn rewards when they shop local.
Through the Open Rewards app, users can earn 10% cash back on qualifying purchases at participating Duncanville businesses. The current campaign will run May 3, 2026 – June 30, 2026, while funds remain available, with a total rewards pool of $25,000.
How It Works
- Download the Open Rewards: Shop Local app by Bludot Technologies Inc. from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store starting May 1, 2026.
- Click Sign Up and create a profile.
- Link your card or skip this step. You can earn rewards by linking your card and selecting transactions or by uploading photos of your receipts.
- Select Duncanville as your community.
- Shop at participating Duncanville businesses and upload your receipt within 7 days of purchase to earn rewards.
- Cash out your rewards through the app by linking a digital account, such as Venmo or PayPal, or by requesting a check by mail.

- In the Open Rewards app, select Claim/Redeem.
- Select the Payout option.
- Choose the Duncanville community.
- Enter your payout method information if you have not already done so.
- Select your payout method and submit your request. (Payments are typically processed within 10 business days and may take longer during high-volume periods.)

Yes. The following are not eligible:

Is there a maximum reward?
Yes. Rewards are capped at $50 per transaction and $250 per user.
Do rewards expire?
Yes. Rewards must be redeemed by July 31, 2026.
