Duncanville, TX— On August 14, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Duncanville Police Officers responded to multiple calls for service regarding a shooting with injury at 875 E Highway 67 Service Road. Within two minutes, officers arrived at the scene and located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided immediate medical assistance to the male and summoned Duncanville Fire Department paramedics to the scene. Duncanville Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the male to Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Officers identified several involved parties and multiple witnesses. It was determined that parties were on location to discuss the sale of a vehicle when an argument ensued. During the argument, shots were fired, striking the adult male. No other person was struck by the gunfire.
All parties have been identified, and Duncanville Police Department detectives are actively investigating this incident.
The Duncanville Police Department believes this is an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to the public.
