Volunteers Welcome

The Library is occasionally in need of willing helpers. Recent volunteer projects have involved shifting, labeling & processing new titles, assistance with children's programming, and a game collection inventory.

Please note: The library does not accept court-ordered volunteers at this time.

Track Volunteer Hours  - This will take you to the website Track It Forward. We use this to log all volunteer hours and activities.

Volunteers, interested in shelving materials? Attend an upcoming Library Shelving Orientation! Sign up for one of the events in Track It Forward.


Potential volunteers who are age 17 or younger (or 18 years old but are still in high school): 

We accept volunteers beginning the summer before they enter 9th grade. 

Please note: The library does not provide court-ordered volunteer opportunities at this time.

You may apply online by going to the website Track it Forward. For more information, please come to the library to speak with a volunteer coordinator.

Volunteers 18 years or older will also need to pass a background check required by the city's Human Resources department.
