2026 GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION
Notice is hereby given of the cancellation of the Joint Election scheduled for May 2, 2026, and the declaration of election of unopposed candidates for mayor and for council members of Districts 2 and 4 of the City Council of Duncanville, Texas, for a term of two (2) years and who have been duly elected and qualified.
In the Election Code in Subchapter C, Election of Unopposed Candidates, it states that a municipality may cancel an election for council members if each candidate whose name must appear on the ballot is unopposed and no proposal or special election has been called to appear on the ballot.
It is certified that the following unopposed candidates have been declared as such and are declared elected:
