Utility Rate Changes
On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, the Duncanville City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Fee Schedule, which includes a rate increase for services provided by Republic Services for solid waste pickup and Waste Management for landfill disposal services. As stated in their contract, Republic Services may request an annual increase based upon changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Fee increases, while managed by the city, are a pass-through expense from the provider to the customer.
The following rate changes are effective October 1, 2023. Water and sewer rate increases will appear on utility bills beginning November 2023.
