City of Duncanville Drainage Master Plan Survey

The City of Duncanville is developing a Drainage Master Plan (DMP) to evaluate current and future drainage needs across the City. The DMP is a proactive effort to identify flood-prone areas, evaluate potential solutions, and help the City prioritize future drainage improvements.

As part of this effort, the City has launched a web-based interactive map where residents can share input on drainage and flooding concerns in their neighborhoods and around the City. This tool gives the community an opportunity to report issues such as street flooding, structure flooding, or other stormwater concerns directly to the project team.

Who: Residents of Duncanville
What: Provide input on local flooding and drainage issues
Where: Online via the City’s interactive map (link provided below)
When: August 22 – November 22, 2025
Why: Community feedback will help the City better understand local flooding challenges and help guide future flood mitigation and infrastructure improvements

While the City may not be able to study or design projects for all areas identified during this planning effort, the information collected will support ongoing flood mitigation initiatives and provide a valuable resource for future master plans.

Residents are encouraged to participate by visiting the map, exploring their area, and sharing feedback.
