Responsibilities
The primary function and intent of the City of Duncanville Animal Control is to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of people and domesticated animals within the city. Animal control officers are responsible for responding to emergency and nonemergency situations concerning animals within the city and enforcing related state and local laws. Every effort is made to humanely apprehend animals that have become a nuisance or a threat to any citizen.

Primary Destination
Impounded animals are taken to the Tri-City Animal Shelter. They can be reached at (972) 291-5335 unless emergency care is needed.
